Council thanks the community for their submissions on the proposed reclassification of land. The submission period has now closed.
As part of this consultation, a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, 10 September from 6pm-8pm at the Glen Innes Highlands Hub.
All interested members of the community are invited to attend.

- Reclassify Council owned land in Glen Innes from community to operational under the Local Government Act 1993 to provide flexibility in Council’s commercial management and/or decision making concerning these lands.

Submissions must be made in writing and received by close of business, Friday 18 July 2025. Please note: the substance of submissions may be included in Council reports and disclosed under Government Information (Public Access) legislation. Disclosures of political donations or gifts made within two years must accompany any submissions. Disclosure forms are available at Council’s Town Hall office, or on Council’s website.
