Have Your Say on Council’s Draft 2026 - 2027 Plans

Every year, Council prepares a set of key documents that guide what we will deliver, how we will fund it, and what fees apply to services over the next financial year.

We’re now inviting the community to have their say on Council’s Draft 2026-2027 Operational Plan, Budget and Fees and Charges, which are on public exhibition.

This is your opportunity to tell us what matters most to you and whether Council’s priorities are heading in the right direction.

What is Council asking for feedback on?

Draft Operational Plan 2026 - 2027

The Operational Plan is Council’s 12‑month action plan. It outlines the services, projects and activities Council plans to deliver in 2026–2027 to support the community’s long‑term goals.

It includes:

  • Key projects and programs across the region
  • Service delivery commitments
  • How Council is responding to local priorities

Draft Budget 2026 - 2027 (from page 32)

The Budget sits within the same document as the Operational Plan and explains where Council’s money comes from and how it will be spent over the next financial year.

It includes:

  • Day‑to‑day operational spending
  • Capital works and infrastructure investment
  • How Council will manage its finances responsibly

Draft Fees and Charges 2026 - 2027

The Fees and Charges document outlines proposed fees for Council services and facilities, such as:

  • Waste and recycling services
