Council is exploring the idea of establishing a Glen Innes School of Arts & Music — and we want your input!
This is an early-stage engagement to determine whether the concept has interest from the community. Council is asking residents to help shape the proposal and identify local needs and opportunities.
The survey seeks feedback on a range of areas including:
Music lessons (individual or group, across instruments and voice)
Band programs for school-aged and community groups
Explore Music programs (Classical, Jazz, Rock, Pop and more)
Music production, recording, publishing and industry pathways
Other arts activities (visual, drama, dance, literary)
Willingness to support, volunteer, or collaborate

The MusicPro & Audiofunk Emerging Artist Recording Competition celebrates the creativity and talent of musicians from the Glen Innes Severn region. It’s part of a broader community initiative exploring the creation of a Glen Innes School of Arts & Music — your participation helps demonstrate community interest.

A world class music production with international music producer Paul Avanti Iannuzzelli
An online release & promotional campaign provided by Audiofunk.

Who Can Enter:
Open to solo artists and bands who live, work, or study within the Glen Innes Severn LGA. Preference will be given to local residents.
How to Enter:
Complete the Glen Innes Music & Arts Community Survey (if you haven’t already).
Record your original song – up to 4 minutes (iPhone quality acceptable).
Upload your video to your own Google Drive or WeTransfer account.
Submit your entry via the link.
