UPDATE | 23 July 2025: EOIs Open for Spring 2025 'Get in Here' Photo & Video Shoot
Thursday 30 October 2025 | One day only
Council is now inviting expressions of interest from local businesses, community members and community groups to participate in the second round of content capture for the Get in Here and New England High Country destination marketing campaigns.
This Spring 2025 photo and video shoot will take place on Thursday, 30 October 2025 and will build on the success of the initial campaign. The new content will contribute to local and regional promotional materials, including websites, posters and social media campaigns, helping showcase the vibrancy of Glen Innes Highlands.
Participants must be available for the full day of shooting. Locations and time allocations will be confirmed in advance and will focus on areas such as the Glen Innes Town Centre parklands, key shopping precincts and the gardens featured in the New England Garden Trail (or alternative). The shoot will be guided by the creative direction of our contracted photographer and videographer, and participants must be open to a variety of photography and video formats.
Campaign outcomes so far
The first round of the Get in Here campaign led to:
- A community-led YouTube video featuring real locals and places
- A series of high-performing social media reels
- A suite of high-quality photography assets for ongoing use in marketing and communications
Now, Council is building on that momentum—and would love your help to continue telling the Glen Innes Highlands story.
Key details
- Date: Thursday 30 October 2025
- Time commitment: Full day (location-specific times provided ahead of the shoot)
- Use of content: Glen Innes Highlands and New England High Country digital and print campaigns
Creative direction: Managed by professional photographer and videographer

New campaign to show the real heart of our region!
Glen Innes Highlands has a story to tell, and we need your voice to help tell it! Council is calling on residents, businesses, community groups and anyone passionate about this place to get involved in our 'Get in here' campaign.
Council is seeking expressions of interest from those who want to be featured in the campaign’s photography and videography.
Why is this approach important?
Because real representation matters. It’s not just about showcasing the sights, but the people and community that make our town unique. Authenticity drives connection, and by spotlighting everyday locals, we create a narrative that resonates with visitors who want a true experience. When potential tourists see familiar faces and genuine stories, they feel more inclined to explore what we have to offer.
People don’t just visit places – they visit communities!
Be part of shaping that welcoming image! Submit your expression of interest and help put our town’s best face forward. Let’s show the world why they should Get in here.
To submit your interest, please contact Coordinator Economic Development & Tourism, Rhonda Bombell, on: (02) 6730 2408 or at rbombell@gisc.nsw.gov.au.
